WordPress 3.7.1 hits the streets!
WordPress 3.7.1 has been released. This is a maintenance update which addresses 11 bugs, including:
Images with captions were sometimes broken in the visual editor;
Some sites running on old or misconfigured server can continue to check for updates from WordPress.org;
Avoids fatal errors with come plugins that were incorrectly calling WordPress functions too early;
Fixed hierarchical sorting in get_pages(), exclusions in wp_list_categories(), and in_category() when called with empty values; and
Fixed a warning in some setups while performing a search, and a few other notices.
A number of files have also been revised (list here).
You can update your WordPress version automatically from the ‘Dashboard > Updates’ menu. Make sure you’ve done a complete site backup first! If you need help, contact Shack West for assistance.
